KATE HORSFIELD

Kate has been working as a junior stylist at The Pet Retreat’s Bowdon salon for three months. She holds a OCN Level 3 Diploma. 

Kate’s favourite part of her day working at The Pet Retreat is to see how excited the dogs are when the owners pick them up after their groom. During grooms, she stays calm keeping herself calm and lots of encouragement for the dogs. 

Her favourite breeds of dog are Golden Retrievers, Dachshunds and Rottweilers. She owns Two Golden Retrievers called Hugo and Frank and a Rabbit called Freddie. The most unusual animal Kate has groomed during her career was a cat. If Kate was stranded on a desert island, she would want sun cream, water and her phone to take pictures. Outside of work, Kate enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends. She could listen to Face to Face – Rex Orange County on repeat.
